The Weather Table
We are in Spring and Loving it. The Weather is warm most of the time, but you may find a rainy day or two once in a while
For the night, you can see the bright stars with only a few clouds hanging from above. It is a great time to look at the stars if you have nothing else better to do.

Stepping her tiny feet onto the stage,6 year old Aiko laughed as her father danced her around, as Marie Stuart, a cast member, sang and played the piano joyfully. She was wearing her favourite purple dress and black shoes. She parted from her father's gentle hold, and ran over to Marie, whispered something into her ear. Oblivious to what the two girls were talking about, Danny Summers just stood and waited. Aiko ran back onto the stage and giggled. She ran up to her father and stood straight, tucking her brown hair behind her ears. "May I have your ticket sir?" She tried her best to put on a posh, adult like voice. Danny laughed, delved his hand into his pocket and pulled it back out again, his fingers pinched as if holding something, but all he was holding was the air. Aiko held out her small hands, palms upwards and he placed the "ticket" on top of them. She smiled widely, her pearly white small teeth shining, along with her sapphire eyes. "Thank you Sir, You may sit down." Aiko pointed to the front row in the theatre, which he owned. He followed his daughter’s orders, jumped down from the stage and sat in the middle seat on the first row. She smiled, and cleared her throat, even though little sound escaped. "Ladies and Gentlemen, and daddy!" She squealed. "I am proud to introduce to you, the wonderful ...AIKO!" She clapped her hands madly, Marie joining in and her father too. She ran into the middle of the stage and a sudden spotlight stood her out from the black stage where the lights were just turned off by the other cast behind the curtain. Marie started to play the beginning of Aiko's favourite show song. From the corner of the stage, emerging from the darkness, Sammy Smith, a 15-year-old blonde sweet boy started to sing the opening lines of the song. And the minute the words danced from his lips, Aiko was no longer a 6 year old child, performing a show for her father. She was 11 years older, seeking refuge in the surprisingly empty dancehall. Sighing she stepped lightly on the dance floor. She wasn’t a dancer, but she knew how to dance gracefully. She didn’t even know why she was here. She was new to this place. New to the people. The only feeling she wasn’t new to, was the feeling of loss.
