The Weather Table
We are in Spring and Loving it. The Weather is warm most of the time, but you may find a rainy day or two once in a while
For the night, you can see the bright stars with only a few clouds hanging from above. It is a great time to look at the stars if you have nothing else better to do.
Katie entered the building about five minutes ago. She was now on the roof. She looked down at the busy town. She sat down on the edge of the building, taking a chance. She hated sitting on the edge of tall things, but right now it didn't matter to her right now. Katie would really rather get injured(or die) then live her current life.
Katie looked down again with small fear. She steadily stood up, not looking down again. She went towards the stairs, which were near the center of the roof, and screamed. She hoped someone would hear her. No one came up after a few minutes of screaming. So she stopped and listened for footsteps. Katie thought she heard some, but wasn't sure.
She took her sunglasses off of her head, placing them infront of her eyes. The wind blew hard, making Katie shiver a bit. Her skirt didn't do much to keep her warm. It was about 5PM last time she checked a clock. So maybe its about 5:10. No one came, so she started screaming again. She needed someone to talk to. She needed a friend.
Katie's pink hair went all over the place as she screamed. She hated her life. She finally stopped screaming and sat near the edge. It was getting cold out lately. About 10 minutes later Katie got sad. And bored. She needed someone to talk to. But she didn't have any friends to talk to. The sun will appear and reappear every moment or so, and it got her annoyed.

Hearing about this rooftop from some people at school, they said it was a nice place to sit back and relax. He wasn't sure if that was the truth or not, though... They definitely weren't people who seemed to want to be instant friends with him, but who knows. Alan mentally shrugged, and kept walking up the ever-climbing staircase. It wasn't too bad of a walk, but he definitely didn't expect it to be this big.
He was dressed in a pair of dark black jeans, a white T-shirt with a custom design on it, some slip-ons, and had a guitar strapped on his back.
Nearing the final sets of stairs, he could've sworn he heard a scream. He stopped and poked his head over the rail, looking down and then up. No one. His face went from worried to puzzled back and forth. Is someone in trouble...? He was about to go down the stairs in case someone was in need of help, but the scream came again. This time it was certain it came from above.
Alan cocked his head upwards, and started to move back up the stairs. He was almost at the top, and started to hurry. Someone could be hurt, he thought, I should hurry... He made his way to the doors of the rooftop. They were just in front of him now, and one of them was opened slightly. He peaked outside, and saw a girl about his age who was sitting near the edge of the roof. Deciding it might be a good idea to investigate, he came out into the sunlight.
"Hello?" He said a little cautiously, "Is everything alright. I thought I heard someone screaming... was that you?" He scratched the back of his head while he observed the girl.
She had bright pink hair, and it was flying all over the place in the wind. It looked like it'd be a little cold for her, considering she had a skirt on up here, but he she didn't show it when he called out to her. Her eyes were hidden behind sunglasses, unlike his blue ones. His vision was starting to blur from the water in his eyes. He wiped them, and was thankful the wind had started to calm down.

Katie looked back hearing a voice. "Hi, uh, yea... Everythings fine.." She mumbled. She stood up to see someone with blue eyes and short blond hair. "I'm just a little mad, I guess." She said lifting up her glasses so they were now resting on her head. Katie was facing the opposite side of the sun.
The wind settled down a bit and now her pink hair wasn't flying everywhere. Her eyes stared into the boys before asking him a question, without meaning to. "Whats your name?" She put a small smile on her face as if she meant to ask.

OOC: Sorry for late reply. xD Been busy.
His name, what was it? He had lost his train of thought, and his brain seemed to be a mess. He was too focused on the girl, and the smile that appeared on her face. The sunlight seemed to brighten her up, whereas Alan was stuck in the cold shadows of the doorway and the wall around it. He slowly stepped out of the darkened area, and came up beside her.
"Alan." It was all he managed to say, finally remembering. He felt stupid, having trouble to even say his name. It wasn't the first time he had run into this trouble. He was thankful he recovered from his condition quickly. It wouldn't be a good first impression to forget your name, and probably alot more.
